The London & District Construction Association has provided detailed guidance to its members on how to manage contractual concerns relating to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The report from the group tasked with spending $1 billion on Hamilton’s transit system recommends spending the money in a variety of ways, including on light rail or on busses.

The $4.6-billion line will connect the Port Credit GO regional rail station in Mississauga to the Brampton Gateway Terminal, and include 19 stops along the way.

The funding comes after years of promise to build a facility for the treatment of residents in the Grassy Narrows First Nations who are suffering from mercury poisoning.

Totals for the year to date are more than $11 million ahead of the previous year’s pace.
