Topping off 100 Queens Quay East
Construction crews achieved the milestone on August 24. 100 Queens Quay East will be a 25-storey tower in downtown Toronto, and the first phase of the Sugar Wharf community.
Feds, province announce back-to-school funding
Ontario’s share of the $2 billion announced by the federal government comes to just over $763 million. Payments will be made in the fall and early next year.
Province commits $16M to Etobicoke school
The new Etobicoke school will be located on a former Toronto District School Board site on Allanhurst Drive, and feature space for 600 students.
Connecting Links funding announced for 2021–22
Applications for funding through next year’s program are open until November 6, and the province has raised the per-project maximum funding for bridge projects to $5 million.
Province funds $13M worth of construction at Fort William park
A second access road is being built at the Northern Ontario landmark, while funding is also needed to repair and maintain some of the park’s heritage structures.
