It’s not clear whether—or which—construction trades will be among those allowed to resume in-person activities in the first phase of a limited re-opening.

DPI Construction Management has hired Dr. Elaine Chin of the Innovation Health Group to advise on workplace safety and employee wellness as they pertain to COVID-19.

About 11 percent of those 5.5 million workers who lost jobs or were displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic got back to work in May. Construction added nearly 74,000 jobs after losing more than 300,000 in April.

The program connects innovators and entrepreneurs with experienced industry mentors in an effort to bring novel solutions to the construction marketplace.

The company announced targeted donations to organizations in the communities it serves, as well as a virtual physical activity challenge for employees to raise further money.
