Richvale York Block Inc. of Gormley has found to have failed to ensure there was a guardrail at the open side of a raised platform on which a worker stood.

The $472-million project would create a double-circuit 230 kilovolt transmission line between St. Clair Township and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

The funding will be used to strengthen air safety and connectivity at 16 local and regional airports.

Scheduled to start later this year, the project encompasses a seven-storey, 121,000-square-foot building designed to enhance the overall campus experience for UTM students.

The announcement comes after months of back and forth between the two levels of government over Ontario's affordable housing targets.
