The work marks the start of construction on a new interchange station that connects the Ontario Line with the TTC’s Line 2.

The housing agency said the seasonally adjusted annual rate of housing starts in June amounted to 241,672 units, down from 264,929 in May.

As part of the agreement, Stelco’s headquarters will stay in Hamilton and the company will maintain "significant employment levels" in Canada and include Canadians in its management team.
