Infrastructure Ontario has released its request for proposals for space to accommodate a temporary Ontario Science Centre.

Surma said that when risk of the weight of snow on the roof starts, employees will need time to decommission the building.

The governor’s comments echoed the central message of a speech senior deputy governor Carolyn Rogers gave in March, where she warned addressing low productivity has become a national emergency.

It plans to work with other groups such as Toronto Metropolitan University to explore solutions to help modernize the delivery of public infrastructure.

Of the funding, $9 million is being allocated to the construction of five training centres across the province.
