Enbridge Sustain plans to use the capital to execute deep-energy retrofit projects in institutional buildings across Ontario.

Analysts identified two particularly problematic infrastructure projects: the Eglinton Crosstown light-rail transit system in Toronto and the Gordie Howe international bridge.

The lines aim to meet the needs of new and growing industries and help attract future jobs to the regions. 

The project includes construction of a new building in downtown Toronto to replace existing facilities for patients with complex mental illness.
