A former Toronto City Councillor and Member of Parliament for Trinity–Spadina, Chow is among the nearly-70 candidates who have so far declared for the city’s top job.

The line includes a proposed double-circuit 230 kilovolt transmission line that runs between the Municipality of Shuniah and the Town of Atikokan, and a proposed new single-circuit 230 kv line between Atikokan and the City of Dryden.

The industry is aiming to bring its emissions down by 40% by 2030, and has outlined the steps it intends to take to achieve net zero by 2050.
