Auditor General Bonnie Lysyk recommended the province ask the integrity commissioner to determine if Housing Minister Steve Clark's chief of staff, Ryan Amato, acted contrary to the Public Service of Ontario Act.

Construction of new hospitals in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec and Dawson Creek, British Columbia drove a major increase in the value of institutional construction permits.

The proposal would require workplaces to comply with heat stress exposure limits for light to very heavy workloads in accordance with methods used to determine heat exposures.

Lysyk said the owners of the 15 land sites removed from the Greenbelt could see an $8.3 billion increase to the value of those lands; 14 of those sites "were brought into the exercise" by the housing minister's chief of staff.

Five projects across southwestern Ontario will share in the funding, with Essex Non-Profit Homes receiving nearly half of the money for a series of deep retrofits.
