Toronto’s Cementation Canada Inc. has been fined for its role in a workplace incident that saw a worker sustain injuries after a fall of more than four metres.

Statistics Canada said Friday real growth domestic product gained 0.1 per cent in August, topping its initial estimate that suggested no growth for the month.

The installation of 480 fuel channels in the Unit 6 reactor core was completed by a team of made up of workers and tradespeople from Aecon, SNC-Lavalin and United Engineers & Constructors.

The company posted revenue of $1.32 billion, compared to $1.16 billion in the same period last year. 

Four of the recipients intend to use some or part of their funding allocations to launch construction projects.
