The findings in Statistics Canada’s Labour Force Survey for July show a slight dip in all-industry employment from the month previous, and a new record national unemployment rate.

The year-over-year inflation rate slowed to 7.6 per cent in July, Statistics Canada reported Tuesday, with the deceleration largely driven by a decline in gas prices even as prices for food, rent and travel continued to rise.

The housing agency says the seasonally adjusted annual rate of housing starts in July was 275,329 units, an increase of 1.1 per cent from June.

Built by Pomerleau, the 443,000-square foot facility is the largest and most technologically advanced sortation facility in the delivery company’s network.

The study investigated various green building certifications and estimated embodied greenhouse gas emissions to help the architectural team select low-impact and environmentally preferable materials and products.
