The cost to build the open pit mine has jumped from $510 million to around $800 million in part because of inflation and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

IBI Group has won the contract to provide engineering services for the Thornbury Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion 1A project in the Town of The Blue Mountains.
