The city issued two permits worth a combined $21 million for work on multi-unit residential projects.

Designed by NORR Architects and built by EllisDon, the project includes a number of sustainable design elements, and several structural innovations.

The new detachment will provide approximately 17,000 square feet of space, and replaces the building on Beaverdale Road that was destroyed by fire in 2018. Construction is targeted for completion in 2023.
