The road is one of the most heavily used in Windsor. It’s also considered one of the worst, topping the annual CCA list of worst roads in the city in 2021.

The Region of Waterloo announced that the provincial government had approved its Transit Project Assessment for the line extension. The decision means the region can start seeking out funding from senior levels of government for the line extension to Cambridge.

The industry added 57,000 workers (4 percent) in May, which builds on the 31,000 workers added in April.

In-person trade exams have resumed at most local ministry offices across the province—with public-health protocols in place.

Work is finally underway on the first of four transit mega-projects first proposed by the Ford government in April 2019. Crews broke ground on the Scarborough Subway Extension on June 23.
