Ontario's chamber of commerce has released guidance for private sector businesses seeking to develop COVID-19 proof-of-vaccination protocols.

The project involves the permanent removal of the Logan Avenue ramp at the east end of the Gardiner Expressway, widening and lengthening the Lake Shore Bridge over the Don River, and rebuilding the roadway between Don Roadway and Carlaw Avenue.

Completed in 2019, the project took top honours in the Government Buildings category in this year’s International Architecture Awards.

The media company is expected to occupy more than 85 percent of The Exchange, one of two buildings that make up the state-of-the-art downtown Toronto complex.

Construction employment is now 3.5%, or 49,900 workers, ahead of the same period in July 2020, but remains 63,600 workers below pre-pandemic levels recorded in July 2019.
