Steel fabricators warn of price hikes, delivery delays
Prices for flat-rolled steel continued to rise through the fourth quarter of 2020 and again in the early weeks of 2021. What’s more, fabricators are warning that a normal two- to three-week lead time has been extended to one or two months.

Employment, labour force figures down year over year; may fall further in Q1

The provincial allocation is open to those municipalities with populations of less than 100,000 and the money will be shared among 424 communities. The overall funding allocation for 2021 is identical to the funding issued in 2020.
