A variety of community and recreational infrastructure projects will receive funding boosts from the federal and provincial governments.

The contract has been awarded to a team that includes Aecon Group. The project will see the replacement of steam generators at units 3 and 4 at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station.

The federal government announced on July 6 that is laying the groundwork for procurement to begin on a dedicated, high-frequency rail line between Toronto and Quebec City.

The Ontario government has pledged more than $45 million to support the reconstruction of the South Common Community Centre and Library in Mississauga; the city will contribute a further $16 million.

The national association’s submission makes a series of recommendations aimed at securing a stable, long-term infrastructure funding pipeline.
