Building picked up in November as housing starts jump 14.4%
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. says the seasonally adjusted annual rate of housing starts rose 14.4 per cent to 246,033 in November, up from 215,134 in October.

At the end of 2019, the number of new registrants in apprenticeship programs national dropped by nearly 3 percent, and the number completing their programs dropped by nearly 4 percent compared to 2018. The news looks much worse for enrolment and completion rates in 2020.
