Three presenters from EllisDon spoke with OGCA president Giovanni Cautillo on a special webinar about racism in construction, and the tools the construction giant has put in place since a number of racist incidents occurred on one of its Toronto sites in the summer.

The work is the latest phase of a project to separate a layover facility and the station itself. It also calls for the addition of new tracks at the station to allow for greater frequency of service along the Stouffville line.

The money will go toward the maintenance, repair, renovation and modernization of existing facilities. It represents an increase of more than $1,696,000 over last year.

Work on the project began in August 2019. The building is Amazon's ninth fulfillment center in Ontario, alongside its two Toronto tech hub locations, and the second completed by Broccolini.
