June LFS shows construction losses, but overall increases
Labour Force Survey data for June released by Statistics Canada earlier this month show a third straight month of job losses in the construction industry, or a drop of 1.6 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis.

Building construction investment drops for the first time in seven months in May
National figures dropped 1.9 percent to $19.4 billion for the month. The loss is the first in 2021, with even the residential sector shedding value for the first time since April 2020.
Ottawa, Brampton projects funded
