Construction starts on Zekelman Centre addition at St. Clair College
The $23-million, two-storey addition will add 40,000 square feet, as well as a new auditorium and the country’s first Esports arena. St. Clair college revealed the facility design when construction started on September 16.
Brightwater community launches
The first phase of the 72-acre development calls for two mixed-use buildings. The community as a whole will feature nearly 3,000 residential units, including 150 affordable housing units.

Feds pledge $168M for Ottawa affordable housing
The money is payable in the form of a mortgage to the City of Ottawa, and will be used to fund construction of nearly 700 residential units just west of the downtown core.
Gigamon to open R&D facility in Ottawa
The technology hub will be Gigamon’s fourth, supplementing operations in Santa Clara, California; Seattle, Washington; and Chennai, India.
