The organization has played an important role in helping to keep people safe during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing timely and reliable information for businesses and workers.

Work on the $1.3-billion project has been underway for nearly four years. Once opened, the facility will be Canada’s first smart hospital, featuring fully integrated systems and devices that communicate with one another.

The city has completed work on more than 170 infrastructure projects already this year, with plans to complete another 320 before the end of the year.

The new name better aligns the Ontario association with its national and other provincial counterparts, while better identifying the group as an advocate for engineering firms.

The entire building was disassembled and rebuilt with each brick in its original location. The site now also features two condominium towers with a combined 850 units.
