Lost productivity due to physical distancing requirements and reduced site crew numbers, combined with past contractor performances have pushed back the projects’ substantial completion to the end of the year, says a Toronto staff report.

The council has created the #RESCONCare hashtag and is building a coalition of employers, subtrades and workers from all sectors of the industry to eliminate racism.

The funding will go to support construction of a new modern hospital and lodge in Moosonee, as well as a new ambulatory care centre on Moose Factory Island.

One project by MennoHomes will transform the old St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Bridgeport Road East into a five-storey mixed-use building with 48 rental units; the other will see 13 new units created at a facility on Guelph Street.

Buildings of 855,000 square feet and one million square feet are planned for construction in Hamilton and Ajax respectively.
