Statistics Canada’s labour force survey on Friday said the unemployment rate dipped 0.1 percentage points to 6.7 per cent, beating expectations. 

Since its founding in 1975, the association has helped shape provincial and municipal infrastructure, and advocated for fair business practices and regulatory reform.

The Association of Municipalities of Ontario said a fundamentally different approach is needed to tackle the crisis.
