Toronto kicks off next phase of BQNP project
The latest phase of work on the three-phase project calls for the transformation of a vacant office building into a new waterfront arts and cultural hub, and rehabilitation and restoration of the heritage-designated Canada Malting silos.
CIB, Enwave agree to $1.4B district energy projects for Toronto and Mississauga
The organizations made the announcement on November 3. The agreement sees CIB commit $600 million to the project. That funding will allow Enwave to accelerate and scale the build-out of its district energy systems in Mississauga and Toronto.

Province invests $3.3M in Simcoe Island ferry
The vessel will be built by Hamilton’s Heddle Shipyards. Once operational in Lake Ontario, the ferry will allow for the transport of up to three times more vehicles than the current ferry.
Guelph approves library designs
Detailed design is now underway with construction expected to start in late 2023.
