London metal fabricator fined $75k for worker injury
Misteelco Inc., of Dundas Street in London pled guilty to a violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act in provincial court.
2022 incident leads to $125k fine for Greater Sudbury company
The incident occurred when Consbec Inc. was performing contract work on a project to expand Highway 11/17 in April of 2022.
Cement company fined $190,000 for workers’ injuries
Lehigh Cement Limited, which now operates as Heidelberg Materials Canada Limited, pled guilty to a violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for its role in a 2021 incident.
Brampton company fined $100,000 for workplace injury
Sin Structures has been fined in connection with the incident, which saw a worker injured during construction of a bridge in St. Catharines.
Cambridge company fined $150,000 for 2021 incident
Regional Sewer and Watermain pled guilty to a violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act that led to a worker’s injuries in November 2021.
