CDBI to host 2020 conference virtually
The Canadian Design Build Institute (CDBI) will host its annual conference over three days in October, and in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The conference, which is attended each year by members of all sectors of the construction industry—including owners, consultants, contractors, and providers of allied services—is intended to further promote the use of the design-build method of project delivery.
As part of its planning for this year’s virtual event, CDBI is calling for speakers to submit presentation ideas.
CDBI is looking for presentations on a variety of subjects relating to design-build methodology, and in particular on the following subjects:
- modified and progressive design-build models
- design-build case studies: successes, missteps, and lessons learned
- opportunities to improve the design-build industry
- innovations in construction technology
- current design-build trends and best practices
The deadline for submissions is September 2. For more information, visit www.cdbi.org.
