CEO rebrands as ACEC-Ontario
Consulting Engineers of Ontario announced on September 15 that the organization has re-named itself to the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Ontario (ACEC-Ontario).
The association’s board of directors voted unanimously in favour of the change at the group’s annual general meeting.
The organization said in a statement that the new name better identifies the group as an industry association representing engineering firms. It also aligns the organization with the national-level association—ACEC-Canada—and the naming convention used by the vast majority of our provincial counterparts across Canada.
“This conveys unity, strength and consistency to our stakeholders.”
The organization also expects the new identity and branding will foster growth for ACEC-Ontario.
“More engineering firms will join and engage with us because their success will be enabled by our leadership in policy advocacy and risk management, and we provide access to key knowledge sharing networks and relevant support services,” it said.
The new ACEC-Ontario identity and branding changes will be introduced over the coming weeks, and the organization’s website has been changed to ACECOntario.ca.
