CCA welcomes delegates back to first annual conference in two years
It’s been a long time coming.
The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is moving forward with plans to host its 2022 Annual Conference in Vancouver next month.
The event is scheduled for March 8 to 11 and will be hosted at the JW Parq Marriott Vancouver Resort. Registration is now open for the event, which invites industry members to share best practices, network, stay current on industry trends and celebrate accomplishments.
Leading off the event will be keynote speaker Jordin Tootoo, a former professional hockey player turned community leader and mental health advocate. His keynote remarks focus on leadership and creating a culture of exceptional teamwork.
Other sessions include a debate on the future direction of Canada’s trade economy and needed infrastructure, an insider’s perspective on the state of the nation and what this political landscape means for construction in Canada, a CEO roundtable discussion on how to scale-up your business, as well as panels on data trusts and green building, presentations on Indigenous infrastructure, and tips on building a talent pipeline.
For those who are unable to make it in person this year, CCA is offering a live stream experience where registered delegates can view a selection of sessions from their home or office. A mobile conference app and online event platform will also allow all delegates, registered for the in-person or live stream event, to engage and network.
The deadline to register for the in-person conference is February 28. Live stream registrations will be accepted until March 2.
