PCL announces senior leadership changes in Toronto
PCL has made a series of changes to its Toronto-based senior leadership team.
The company announced on September 6 that Marc Pascoli has been appointed senior vice president and district manager of PCL Toronto. He assumes overall responsibilities for PCL’s operations in the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern Ontario.
Joining Pascoli is Myke Badry, who transitions from his role as district manager in Regina to district manager in Toronto. Rounding out the three-person leadership team is Monique Buckberger, who remains in her role as vice president and district manager.
Pascoli succeeds Bruce Sonnenberg who was promoted to regional vice president, Central Canada, responsible for operations in Winnipeg (overseeing Sudbury) and in Ottawa (overseeing Atlantic Canada).
Sonnenberg, meanwhile, shares regional duties with Todd Craigen, president of Eastern Canada, who continues to have oversight of PCL’s Toronto and Montreal districts, and with Kris Hildebrand, president of Western Canada. Both Craigen and Sonnenberg will remain based out of PCL’s Toronto District Office.
The company says the changes position PCL for continued growth and long-term success, and support PCL’s recent expansion into new geographical areas in Central and Eastern Canada.
“As an % employee-owned company, our greatest asset is our people,” says Mike Wieninger, chief operating officer of Canadian Buildings and Civil operations. “Through succession planning, we are building strong integrated leadership across Canada at both the regional and district levels to drive consistent and reliable value to our clients, partners and communities.”
Toronto is one of the largest markets PCL serves, and is home to many of PCL’s national clients, innovative pilot projects and its team of more than 600 employees.
