Highlight Motor Group builds new headquarters in Bradford
A Toronto trucking company has broken ground on construction of a new headquarters facility in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Highlight Motor Group kicked off proceedings on August 11 at Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Highway 400 Employment Lands. The project’s scope of work includes a 350,000-square foot warehouse, yard and state-of the art repair shop. The company has previously purchased a 100-acre parcel of land on the Highway 400 Employment Lands to accommodate its expanding truck fleet and growing staff complement.

Established in 2007, Highlight Motor Group is one of the 50 fastest growing transportation and logistics companies in Canada, with seven facilities across North America and a fleet of more than 700 vehicles.
On the property in Bradford West Gwillimbury, its new headquarters will be strategically positioned in a between Greater Toronto and the communities to the north, gaining access to Highway 400 and two major interchanges, as well as the upcoming Bradford Bypass (Highway 400/404 Link).
The company currently owns more than 700 pieces of transportation equipment, employs 1,200 people, and operates more than 700,000 square feet of secure warehouse space.
This new project is expected to create as many as 2,000 jobs.
