Comtech, CIMA+ awarded PM contract for Parliamentary precinct work
A joint venture of Comtech Group Inc. and CIMA+, has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide specialized real property project management services for modernization projects on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
The contract, which was awarded by Public Services and Procurement Canada, includes the rehabilitation of the Confederation Building, Energy Services Acquisitions Program, and Building Components and Connectivity projects.
Comtech and CIMA+ will combine their project management expertise and previous federal, provincial, and municipal experience to develop and implement the robust project management framework needed to deliver this program of work.
“Comtech is thrilled to work alongside our partner CIMA+ to deliver this program and support the delivery of the Government of Canada’s Long-term Vision and Plan (LTVP),” said Chris Swail, Vice President, Buildings and Facilities at Comtech. “In doing so, our integrated project teams will apply their expertise and understanding of the environment to help rehabilitate and modernize the Parliamentary Precinct to meet present and future needs.”

The multi-year contract is anticipated to start in early 2023.
