NCA calling for food bank donations
With the holiday season fast approaching, the Niagara Construction Association (NCA) is calling on its members to get into the giving spirit.
The association makes a point of encouraging members to enjoy a little friendly competition heading into its annual Christmas Lunch & Food Drive on December 6 at the Holiday Inn Parkway and Conference Centre in St. Catharines. Members are invited to either make cash or food donations, and top donor receives the grand prize; attendees are also treated to a dozen door prize draws.
Vendor summits planned for Gordie Howe International Bridge Project
The Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) and Bridging North America (BNA) will host two information sessions and networking events for contractors and suppliers that wish to be involved on the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project.

CAF identifies ten trades in greatest demand
According to a report issued by the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF), Ontario’s labour force will need more than 48,000 new certified journeypersons to meet anticipated employment growth and demand through 2028.
GVCA members hear about procurement at PACE event
