Fatal fall leads to $150K fine
A worker died after falling from the roof of a 13-storey building under construction in Hamilton. The Toronto contractor pled guilty to a charge of failing to ensure the worker was protected by a means of fall protection, and will pay a fine of $150,000.

Economic recovery will stall in the winter: Conference Board
Overall, the Conference Board of Canada forecasts that real GDP will shrink by 6.6 percent in 2020. That’s an improvement over the organization’s last outlook that called for an 8.2 percent drop this year.
