As building codes are often implemented for new buildings designed after an event occurs and do not apply to existing buildings, building code updates can feel like too little, too late.

The Lambton Kent District School Board announced on November 8 that the Ministry of Education has approved the acquisition of the site for a new school that will consolidate students from kindergarten to Grade 12.
