The project at Toronto Western Hospital will use recovered heat extracted from wastewater and the sewage system to supply about 85 percent of the facility’s heating and cooling needs.

The total value of permits issued for the month reached $9.9 billion, with all provinces except British Columbia and Newfoundland and Labrador posting lower values.
