Two small Ontario communities are the latest recipients of more than $2.5 million in combined infrastructure funding from the federal and provincial governments.

The global engineering company will provide engineering, procurement and construction management services for the US$1.3 billion Côté Gold open pit gold mine.

A report by Statistics Canada looked at apprenticeship completion rates between 2008 and 2016. It found that those apprentices who trained in higher-paying trades and those training in fields relating to their trades were most likely to complete their programs.
