Contract awarded for Windsor catholic HS
The $26.7-million contract to build the facility was awarded to Oscar Construction Company Limited. The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board aims to have the facility open for the start of the 2022–23 school year.
Construction labour market indicators nearing pre-pandemic levels
In its monthly report, Statistics Canada found that employment across all industries rose by 1.6% in March, and had risen to within 1.5% of its February 2020 level. Construction, which reported an increase of 24,900 workers, was among those sectors reporting gains.
