The city has completed work on more than 170 infrastructure projects already this year, with plans to complete another 320 before the end of the year.

The new name better aligns the Ontario association with its national and other provincial counterparts, while better identifying the group as an advocate for engineering firms.

The entire building was disassembled and rebuilt with each brick in its original location. The site now also features two condominium towers with a combined 850 units.

Lindsay is the president of project delivery at IO, and takes over the organization’s top role from departing president & CEO Ehren Cory on November 1.

A combined investment of $5.5 million from the federal and provincial governments will see construction of nearly 150 affordable housing units in southwestern Ontario.
