SWIFT awards $12M in broadband contracts in Waterloo Region
Construction of the projects is expected to begin as early as April, and will bring faster, more reliable internet service to more than 1,000 homes and businesses across the region by mid-2022.
Hamilton approves $484M capital budget

Pomerleau awarded Parks Canada archive facility project
The $42-million facility will house 25 million artefacts from Parks Canada’s collection. The building will span 8,200 square metres and has been designed to not only preserve the invaluable collection, but also achieve zero carbon emissions through the use of renewable energy.
National employment gains slow, while provincial trends continue to vary
Statistics Canada’s latest Labour Force Survey (LFS), conducted during the week of November 8th to 14th, shows a gain of 0.3% in industry employment for the month. Employment rose by 4,300 workers from 1,438,000 in October to 1,442,000 in November.
