The Sault Ste. Marie college will receive $2 million from the province to renovate space into a new home for its School of Engineering.

Between 2021 and 2023, Amazon will have built 19 new facilities across the province, and created 7,500 jobs.

The project sees the Grandview Kids headquarters merged with a handful of satellite sites on a new campus in Ajax. The value of the contract is $85.3 million.

The project, which is expected to last through 2025, will double jobs at the mine site to 1,200, while employing a wide range of tradespeople.
