Between 2021 and 2023, Amazon will have built 19 new facilities across the province, and created 7,500 jobs.

The plan contains more than 50 near- and long-term actions that the province says will help address gridlock and support economic growth.

No city in North America has more tower cranes in use than Toronto. The provincial capital has held firm to the number-one spot on Rider Levett Bucknall’s quarterly survey since 2015, and shows no signs of slowing down.

The project sees the Grandview Kids headquarters merged with a handful of satellite sites on a new campus in Ajax. The value of the contract is $85.3 million.

The project, which is expected to last through 2025, will double jobs at the mine site to 1,200, while employing a wide range of tradespeople.
